How we met:

It's pretty simple. We all went to school together, we all went to writing camp together, and we decided we should created a safe place for teens and others to post their work and get feedback!

Hey all! I'm currently 17, and have been writing for a long time! I just recently (summer of 2013) completely my (8th?) year at Red Oak Young Writers camp. I'm easily motivated and easily discouraged. I've tried NaNoWriMo twice, but haven't won (YET!). I like planning novels, but end up getting bored and writing short stories instead, and occasionally, poetry. I have no lack of other interests, which is why writing doesn't take precendence most of the time. I enjoy art, designing, engineering, singing, playing trumpet, and being outside.

I’m 16 years old, and a junior in high school.  I started creative writing in 7th grade, and have been writing occasionally ever since.  My typical pieces are short stories, two of which earned me places in our school’s semester literary magazine. In my free time, I avoid boredom by playing piano and reading.
